Village profession chests are tied to job workstations. Find the workstation block for the profession you want to loot, then search nearby for connected chests. Masons work near stone blocks, Butchers near cauldrons, Cartographers near maps and compasses, Shepherds near wool, and Carpenters near wood.

Understanding Biome-Specific Contents

The same profession yields different items depending on your village's biome. A Mason in a desert village will have sandstone and sand-colored blocks, while a Mason in a badlands will stock terracotta variants and clay materials. Butcher chests always contain raw and smoked meats plus tools regardless of biome, but Shepherd chests in snowy villages may emphasize different dye colors than jungle villages.
