Convert Duplicate Items from Multiple Mods

Enabling Conversion Recipes

Conversion recipes are enabled by default. Check your mod configuration file and confirm enableRecipes is set to true. If you've disabled it, toggle it back on and restart your world.

Finding Recipes for Duplicate Items

When multiple mods add identical items—such as different mod versions of wheat, beef, or cheese—the mod registers conversion recipes to unify them. Open your crafting menu and search for the item name. You'll see recipes that accept one mod's version and output another's equivalent.

Using Conversion Recipes

Place the "wrong" mod item in your crafting grid according to the recipe layout shown. The output will be the standardized version. This is especially useful for:

  • Crops from different farming mods
  • Meats from various animal mods
  • Knives from cooking or tool mods
  • Cheese from dairy mods

Conversions are 1:1 and don't require additional ingredients, making it easy to consolidate your storage and avoid inventory clutter from mod overlap.
