Keep Hand Bobbing But Disable All Screen Movement
Understand the Separation
By default, Minecraft ties hand bobbing and screen shake together. Better Hand Bobbing Mod breaks this link, giving you independent control over each.
Configure Your Settings
Go to Video Settings → View Bobbing. You'll now see separate toggles for:
- Screen shake (camera movement)
- Hand bobbing (hand/item movement)
Achieve Maximum Stability
To keep hand movement while eliminating all screen shake:
1. Set Screen Shake to OFF
2. Set Hand Bobbing to ON
This gives you the visual feedback of hand movement—useful for immersion and rhythm—without any camera instability.
Why This Matters
Hand bobbing provides subtle feedback that you're moving, which helps with immersion and spatial awareness. Screen shake, however, can feel jarring or disorienting. This configuration gives you the best of both worlds.
