Preparing to Activate the Portal

To see the green vine effects on the End Portal frame, you need to activate the portal by placing Eyes of Ender. Gather twelve Eyes of Ender before approaching the frame—you'll need one for each block in the frame structure.

Placing Eyes and Observing Vines

Approach each empty End Portal frame block and place an Eye of Ender into it. As you complete this process:

1. Watch as each frame block accepts the Eye of Ender

2. Observe the green vines gradually appearing and spreading across the frame blocks

3. Notice how the vines create an organic, living quality that contrasts with the mystical purple coloring

Once all twelve Eyes are placed, the portal fully activates and the vine effect reaches its peak visual impact. The combination of the glowing purple frame, the vibrant green vines, and the activated portal creates a dramatic and immersive moment.

This is the ideal time to take screenshots or simply admire the enhanced aesthetics before entering the End dimension to face the Ender Dragon.
