Troubleshoot Missing or Broken Arrow Models

Diagnosing Arrow Model Issues

If you're not seeing 3D arrows or effects appear correctly, follow these steps.

Check Resource Pack Status

1. Open Settings > Resource Packs

2. Verify Better Bows is enabled and appears in the active list (right side)

3. Ensure it's positioned above any conflicting packs in the load order

4. Move it higher if other packs are overriding it

Verify Compatibility

• Check your Minecraft version matches the pack's requirements
• Disable conflicting packs temporarily (other bow or arrow packs)
• Test with vanilla settings to isolate the issue

Refresh Game Assets

1. Press F3 + T to reload resource packs in-game

2. Return to main menu and re-enter your world

3. Draw a bow to test if models now appear

Reset if Corrupted

1. Remove the pack from your resourcepacks folder

2. Restart Minecraft completely

3. Reinstall the pack fresh

4. Reload and test

If 3D arrows still don't appear after these steps, verify your graphics settings support model rendering and check for mod conflicts.
