Customize Bow and Arrow Appearance

While Better Bows Resource Pack provides default enhanced models, you can customize appearance by editing the resource pack files.

1. Locate your resource pack folder (usually in .minecraft/resourcepacks/)

2. Open the Better Bows pack folder with a file manager or archive tool

3. Navigate to assets/minecraft/models/ to find bow and crossbow model files

4. Navigate to assets/minecraft/textures/ for bow and arrow textures

Edit texture files (PNG format) to recolor arrows or bow materials
Modify model JSON files to adjust arrow positioning, size, or rotation when drawn
Adjust special effect colors for tipped and spectral arrows by editing their texture variants

1. Save your edits to the resource pack files

2. Reload the pack in-game (F3 + T to refresh, or restart Minecraft)

3. Test in-game by drawing bows to see your customizations

Tip: Back up the original pack before editing to preserve defaults if needed.
