Restore the Vanilla White Stripe If You Prefer It

Why You Might Want the Original

Some players prefer the familiar white stripe animation from vanilla Minecraft, even with this pack installed. You can revert to it without uninstalling the entire resource pack.

Replace the Slash Texture

Locate the Better Attack Sweep slash texture file in assets/minecraft/textures/. Extract the vanilla Minecraft resource pack (or download it from the launcher) and find the original attack animation texture.

Copy the vanilla texture file and paste it into the Better Attack Sweep pack, overwriting the custom slash file. Keep the filename identical so the game uses your vanilla version instead.

Reload and Test

Press F3 + T to reload textures in-game. Swing your sword at mobs—you should now see the white stripe instead of the sharp cut effect.

Partial Compromise

If you want a hybrid look, edit the vanilla white stripe texture to add the center split effect yourself, blending both styles. This gives you the familiar appearance with a subtle modern touch.

Note

This approach keeps all other pack features intact while only changing the sword swing visual.
