Customize Your Sword Slash Color

Locate the Texture Files

The Better Attack Sweep Resource Pack stores its sword swing textures in the assets/minecraft/textures/ folder. Navigate to the particle or effect textures directory where the slash animation frames are stored.

Edit the Slash Appearance

Open the slash texture file in an image editor like Photoshop, GIMP, or Aseprite. The file will show the sharp cut effect with the center split. You can:

• Adjust the color by modifying the RGB values
• Change the opacity to make slashes more or less transparent
• Alter the contrast to make the cut sharper or softer
• Modify the glow or brightness if the pack includes emissive textures

Apply Your Changes

Save the edited texture file in PNG format, maintaining the original filename and location. Reload your resource pack in Minecraft by pressing F3 + T (or restarting the game). Test your sword swings against mobs to see the new slash color in action.

Tips

Keep the center split visible for the intended effect. Avoid making the slash too dark or it may become hard to see during combat.
