Switch Between Different Shader Presets
Accessing the Shader Menu
Open your world or create a new one, then pause the game. Navigate to Settings > Graphics > Shader. You'll see a list of the seven included shader packs available in this collection.
Selecting a Preset
Tap on any shader name to preview it. The game will apply the shader immediately, so you can see how it affects lighting, water, and shadows in real-time. If the shader feels too heavy for your device (frame rate drops noticeably), try a lighter preset from the list.
Fine-Tuning Performance
After selecting a shader, return to Settings > Graphics and look for shader-specific options like shadow distance, reflection quality, or lighting intensity. Reducing these values helps maintain smooth gameplay on lower-end devices without losing the visual improvements.
If you want to compare presets side-by-side, switch between them while standing in the same location—this makes differences in water reflections and shadow softness most obvious. You can always revert to the vanilla shader by selecting "None" or "Off" from the shader list.
