Troubleshoot Missing or Incorrect Sky Textures
Verify OptiFine Installation
The most common issue is OptiFine not being installed or active. Check your launcher profile and confirm OptiFine is selected as the version. Beautiful Sky cannot load custom skies without it.
Check Pack Placement
1. Open Resource Packs and confirm Beautiful Sky appears in your selected list
2. Ensure it's not accidentally in the unselected column
3. If it's there, move it to selected and restart Minecraft
Clear Cache and Reload
Minecraft sometimes caches old textures. Close the game completely, then delete the shaderpacks folder in your .minecraft directory if it exists. Relaunch and let Minecraft rebuild its texture cache.
Check for Conflicts
If you have multiple sky-modifying packs or shaders installed, they may conflict. Temporarily disable other packs and test with only Beautiful Sky active. If the sky appears correctly, re-enable packs one at a time to identify the conflict.
Verify File Integrity
Ensure the Beautiful Sky pack folder is complete and not corrupted. If problems persist, reinstall the pack.
