Display Custom Text Directly on Player Screens

Using Direct Camera and Display Commands

The mod provides tools to render text and visual elements directly onto player screens through custom commands. This bypasses traditional chat and action bar limitations.

Displaying Text

1. Use the mod's screen display command in a function or command block

2. Specify the text content you want to show

3. Define positioning on screen (corners, center, or custom coordinates)

4. Set duration for how long the text remains visible

5. Optionally customize text color, size, and shadow effects

Advanced Screen Techniques

Layer multiple text elements at different positions to create HUD-like interfaces. Use screen displays for tutorial hints, objective markers, or real-time feedback without cluttering the chat. Combine with player action predicates to show context-sensitive instructions—display text when players look at specific blocks or perform certain actions. Clear previous displays before showing new ones to avoid visual overlap. Screen text renders client-side, so it's ideal for cosmetic feedback that doesn't affect server logic or other players' experiences.
