Detect Player Modifications and Hidden Constructions

Activate Terrain Scanning Modules

The Base Debug panel includes modules designed to scan loaded chunks for signs of player activity. Enable the terrain modification scanner from the Base Debug menu. This tool highlights blocks and structures that differ from natural terrain generation.

Look for Unnatural Patterns

Once active, the scanner identifies player-placed blocks, cleared areas, and construction patterns. Watch for:

  • Flat surfaces in irregular terrain
  • Cleared vegetation or trees
  • Exposed stone or ore in unusual formations
  • Staircase or tunnel patterns

Refine Your Search

Not every modification indicates an active base—some may be old or abandoned. Combine this module with other Base Debug tools to narrow down promising locations. Travel through different biomes and terrain types to maximize detection opportunities.

Limitations

The scanner only works within loaded chunks, so you'll need to explore actively rather than scanning from a distance. On large servers, this requires patience and systematic exploration of different regions.
