Wearing Items on Your Back

How to Carry Items

Barrels 2012 Mod lets you equip large containers and heavy objects as wearable backpack items. You can carry barrels, large vessels, lamps, anvils, powder kegs, and crucibles directly on your back while moving around.

Wearable items free up inventory space and keep your hands available for other tasks. However, be aware that some items remain hazardous when worn—powder kegs, for example, retain their dangerous properties even while equipped. Lamps provide dynamic lighting as you move, illuminating your surroundings without needing to hold a light source.

Craft the backpack items using their respective recipes, then equip them to start carrying.
