Clean Up Your Screen by Disabling Distracting Visual Effects

Remove Hurt Camera Shake

Locate the visual effects or screen shake settings in your mod menu. Disable the camera shake that occurs when you take damage. This keeps your view steady during combat and makes aiming or running easier.

Reduce or Eliminate Fog

Find the fog rendering option and lower its intensity or turn it off completely. This expands your visible range, especially useful in caves, the Nether, and the End where fog normally limits sight distance.

Disable Unnecessary Overlays

Review all active HUD modules and turn off any you don't actively use. Fewer elements on screen reduce visual noise and help you focus on threats and navigation.

Customize Remaining Elements

For modules you keep enabled, adjust their opacity and positioning. Semi-transparent overlays blend into the background better than solid ones. Position them in corners or edges rather than the center of your screen.

Test in Different Environments

Visit caves, the Nether, and open terrain to see how your cleaned-up screen feels in various lighting and visibility conditions. Fine-tune settings until gameplay feels clear and responsive.
