How to Configure Bad Mobs on a Server or Hosting Panel Like Aternos
Locate the right config file
On a server, Bad Mobs writes its config to the server's config folder rather than your local .minecraft directory. The file is named badmobs-common.toml. On a hosting panel such as Aternos, use the file manager in the panel to browse to the config folder and open that file with the built-in text editor.
Edit and save through the panel
Find the section for each mob you want to change, for example [minecraft.creeper]. Adjust the booleans: allowNormalSpawning, allowSpawners, allowSpawnEggs, and removeAggressively. Change true to false (or the reverse for aggressive removal) as needed. Save the file in the panel's editor — most panels write the change immediately, but confirm there's no unsaved-changes warning before leaving the page.
Restart the server
Config changes are read at startup, so restart the server from the panel's controls rather than just reloading the world. After it comes back up, the new rules apply to all players. If a mob still appears, double-check you edited the server-side config and not a client copy, and that the mob's section actually exists in the file. Only server-side config matters for multiplayer spawning.
