Finding Aztec Temples in Your World

Where to Search

Aztec temples spawn naturally in jungle and savanna biomes. They're most common in large, continuous jungle areas, but you'll also find them scattered across savanna plains. Start exploring these biomes and look for distinctive stone structures rising above the canopy or terrain.

Search Strategy

Temples are easier to spot from high ground. Climb a tall tree, hill, or use a high vantage point to scan the landscape for stone structures. Look for the characteristic stepped pyramid shape or tall stone walls. In dense jungles, temples may be partially hidden by foliage—listen for the absence of normal mob sounds, which often indicates a structure nearby.

Exploring Safely

When you locate a temple, approach carefully. Bring torches to light dark interior rooms and prevent hostile mobs from spawning. Temples often contain multiple levels and hidden chambers. Move slowly through narrow passages and watch for drops. Many temples feature loot chests hidden deep within walls or underground sections, so explore thoroughly before leaving.
