How to Copy, Paste, and Move Builds with the Axiom Mod

Selecting and Copying a Build

Press Left Alt to open the Axiom menu that appears alongside your hotbar. From here you can access the core clipboard tools. First, enter selection mode and mark out the region you want to work with by clicking two opposite corners of your build. Once the selection box surrounds everything you need, choose the Copy action from the menu. Axiom stores the selected blocks along with their orientation, so directional blocks like stairs and logs keep facing the right way.

Pasting and Moving

To place your copy elsewhere, walk or fly to the target location and hit Paste. Axiom lets you nudge the pasted schematic with the arrow keys or by adjusting the offset before you confirm, which is handy for lining things up precisely. If you would rather relocate the original build instead of duplicating it, use the Move tool: make your selection, then drag it to the new spot. The source area is cleared automatically. Combine Copy with the quick block replacement feature to swap materials in a pasted structure without redoing the whole thing by hand.

Tips for Clean Results

  • Always check that your selection corners are on the same Y level if you want a flat footprint.
  • Use Move rather than Copy+Paste+delete when you only need one instance.
  • Paste in a clear area first to verify orientation before committing to a busy build site.
