How to Get the Best Loot from Awesome Dungeon Chests

Where Chests Hide

Loot in Awesome Dungeon structures is not always in the obvious central chamber. Chests tend to appear in side rooms, behind breakable walls, on upper floors, and at the end of branching corridors. In larger builds like palaces, castles, and the usine, expect multiple loot rooms rather than a single vault. Search methodically: clear a floor, then check every dead-end and alcove before moving up or down. Bring a pickaxe so you can break through suspicious walls that may conceal a hidden room.

Prioritizing Your Haul

You cannot carry everything, so decide what matters before you open the first chest. Valuable gear, enchanted books, and rare materials are worth the inventory space; common blocks usually are not. If you find more than you can carry, stash overflow in a marked chest near the entrance and return for it later. Note that some structures are large enough that you will want a shulker box or an ender chest to extend your storage. Clear spawners in a room before looting it, and never open a chest while mobs are actively attacking — you will lose the contents if you die mid-loot.
