Quickly toggle Autodrop on and off during gameplay

Use the hotkey for instant control

Press J (default hotkey) at any time during gameplay to toggle Autodrop on or off. There's no menu to open—it's instant.

When to toggle Autodrop off

Turn off Autodrop when you need to collect items that are on your blacklist. For example:

• You're building with dirt or cobblestone and need to keep what you mine
• You're collecting a specific material for a project
• You want to manually sort your inventory without automatic dropping

When to toggle Autodrop on

Enable Autodrop when you want automatic cleanup, such as:

• Mining for specific ores while discarding stone
• Farming and automatically dropping unwanted drops
• Grinding mobs and removing junk loot

Check your status

Look for a status indicator in your HUD or chat to confirm whether Autodrop is currently active. Some versions display this on-screen.

Customize your hotkey

If J conflicts with other mods or your playstyle, open the configuration menu (O) and look for hotkey settings to rebind the toggle to a key that works better for you.
