Maximize Accuracy and Hit Rate

Understand the Targeting System

Auto Spear locks onto the closest player within 28 blocks. To land consistent hits:

• Maintain a clear line of sight to your target—walls, trees, and terrain blocks will break the lock
• Fly at varying altitudes and angles to keep targets visible
• The mod charges for exactly 12 ticks per throw, so don't expect instant attacks

Positioning for Success

1. Approach from above or the side when possible—this reduces the chance of terrain blocking your shot

2. Circle your target while gliding to maintain the 28-block range

3. Avoid flying directly into obstacles; the mod can't shoot through them

Managing Cooldown

Each throw has a 0.9-second cooldown before the next spear charges. Use this brief window to:

• Reposition for a better angle
• Ensure your spear is still in your hotbar
• Prepare for the next automatic throw

If you're missing shots, check that your target hasn't moved behind cover and that you're within the 28-block radius.
