Set Up a Scheduled Daily Server Restart

Configure the Restart Schedule

Open your mod's configuration file (usually found in your server's config folder). Locate the scheduling section and enable scheduled restarts.

Specify the time of day you want the restart to occur. Most configurations use 24-hour format. For example, setting the value to restart at 3 AM means the server will automatically shut down and restart at that time every day.

Save and Test

After entering your desired restart time, save the configuration file. The mod will typically load these settings on the next server start, or you may need to reload the config through a command.

Monitor your server logs as the scheduled time approaches to confirm the restart triggers correctly. You should see warning messages appear in the chat a few minutes before the restart occurs, giving players time to log out safely.

Fine-Tune Warnings

If available in your config, adjust the warning message timing and content. This gives your players adequate notice—typically 5 to 10 minutes before shutdown is considerate for active servers.
