Restart Only When the Server Is Empty

Enable Empty-Server Restart Mode

In your configuration file, locate the player-count monitoring feature. Enable the option to delay or trigger restarts based on server population.

Configure Player Detection

Set the mod to check for active players. When this feature is active, the mod will not restart while anyone is logged in. Instead, it waits until the server becomes completely empty.

This is ideal for scheduled restarts—rather than forcing players to disconnect at a fixed time, the server restarts automatically during natural downtime, such as overnight or between play sessions.

Combine with Scheduled Restarts

You can pair this with your scheduled restart time. The mod will attempt to restart at your scheduled time, but only if no players are online.

This approach minimizes disruption while still ensuring regular restarts happen. Check your logs to see when restarts actually occur versus when they were delayed due to active players.
