Hide the HUD completely and show it only when taking damage

Configure hide delay and damage trigger

To keep your screen clear except during combat, you'll need to set a short inactivity timer and enable damage as a reveal trigger.

1. Open your mod configuration menu (usually accessible from the main menu or in-game settings)

2. Locate the Hide Delay setting and set it to your preferred duration—a few seconds works well for most players

3. In the Visibility Elements section, uncheck or disable all HUD components you want hidden (health bar, hunger bar, hotbar, crosshair)

4. Navigate to Trigger Settings and ensure Health Damage is enabled

5. Disable other triggers like hunger or air level changes if you only want damage to reveal the display

6. Save your configuration

Test your setup

Stop moving or interacting for the duration you set. Your HUD should fade away. Then take damage from a mob or fall—the interface should immediately reappear. If it doesn't, double-check that the damage trigger is enabled in your settings.
