Adjust how long the HUD stays hidden before reappearing

Change the inactivity timer

The hide delay controls how many seconds pass without player input before the HUD vanishes. Longer delays mean the interface stays visible during active play; shorter delays give you a clearer view sooner.

1. Open the mod configuration menu

2. Locate the Hide Delay or Inactivity Timer setting

3. Increase the value for a longer delay (useful if you want the HUD visible while exploring)

4. Decrease the value for a shorter delay (better for taking screenshots or enjoying the view)

5. Save your changes

Test and refine

Stop moving and count the seconds—the HUD should disappear after your set duration. If the timing feels wrong, adjust it again. Most players find a value between 3 and 10 seconds comfortable. Remember that any player input (movement, clicking, etc.) resets the timer, so the HUD will stay visible while you're actively playing.
