Using Chat Formatting Codes

Auto Greeter Mod supports Minecraft's chat formatting system. You can add colors, bold text, and other styling to make your greetings stand out.

Adding Colors and Styles

1. Open your configuration file

2. In your message text, insert formatting codes before the text you want to style

3. Common codes include color indicators and style modifiers

4. Save and restart your server

Example Formatting

You can create messages like:

• Colored text for emphasis
• Bold greetings to catch attention
• Multi-line messages (if supported) for more detailed welcomes

Testing Your Formatting

Join the server to see how your formatted message appears in chat. If colors or styles don't display correctly:

• Verify your formatting code syntax matches Minecraft's standard
• Check that your server supports the formatting level you're using
• Ensure the configuration file was saved properly

Experiment with different combinations to find a style that fits your server's personality.
