Prevent Hand and Items from Looking Washed Out
Understand Hand Rendering
Aurora Veil Shaders includes a built-in feature to keep your player hand and held items looking normal by blocking the color filter from affecting close objects. This should work automatically—your hand should appear with natural colors while the world around you has the teal/cyan tint.
Verify the Setting Is Enabled
Access your shader options and look for a toggle labeled:
- "Exclude hand from color grading"
- "Hand color correction"
- "First-person exclusion"
Ensure this option is turned ON. If your hand still looks tinted, the setting may be disabled.
Adjust Hand Brightness if Needed
If your hand appears too bright or too dark compared to the world, some shader versions offer a separate hand brightness slider. Use this to match the hand's appearance to your preference.
If problems persist, verify your shader is fully installed and no conflicting mods are overriding hand rendering.
