Attract More Birds to Your Area

Create a Bird-Friendly Environment

Birds in Atmospheric Fauna spawn based on biome type and environmental conditions. To see more birds around your base or favorite location, focus on biome characteristics.

Plant trees and vegetation. Birds are naturally drawn to wooded areas. Growing trees, especially in forest biomes, increases bird spawning rates. Different bird species prefer different biome types—Blue Jays favor temperate forests, while Crows congregate in larger numbers in mixed woodland areas.

Stay in open spaces. Birds fly more actively in areas with clear sky visibility. Avoid building in heavily enclosed spaces if you want to observe flocks. Open plains and forest clearings will show more aerial activity.

Remain patient and still. Some birds react to player movement. Standing quietly in one spot allows curious species like Common Swifts to approach more closely. Sudden movements may cause flocks to scatter.

Biome Selection

Different biomes spawn different bird types. Explore multiple biomes to see the full variety—Northern Cardinals appear in specific regions, while Crows are more widespread. The mod respects Minecraft's biome system, so your location directly affects which birds you'll encounter.
