Adjust Lighting Intensity to Suit Your Playstyle
Access Shader Settings
Open the shader options menu while in-game by pressing the designated key (usually accessed through Video Settings > Shaders > Shader Options). Look for lighting or brightness-related sliders.
Fine-Tune Brightness and Contrast
AstralCore V2 applies fantasy-style lighting that may feel brighter or more saturated than vanilla Minecraft. Use the available sliders to:
- Reduce overall brightness if the world feels washed out or too vivid
- Adjust shadow intensity to control how dark unlit areas appear
- Modify color saturation to dial back the fantasy effect if it's overwhelming
Test in Different Conditions
Changes are often applied in real-time. Walk through sunny areas, caves, and shaded regions to see how your adjustments look. Cloudy afternoons and sunrise/sunset will show the most dramatic lighting shifts, so test during these times if possible.
Save Your Preferences
Once satisfied, confirm your settings are saved before closing the menu. Your adjustments will persist across sessions.
