Adjust Shader Brightness and Contrast for Your Playstyle

Access Shader Settings

Open the shader options menu while in-game by pressing the designated key (usually found in your control settings). Look for the Astral Reimagined Shaders profile in your shader list and select it to view its configuration panel.

Customize Lighting Levels

Locate the brightness or illumination sliders. Astral Reimagined is designed to brighten your surroundings, but you can fine-tune this to match your preference:

• Increase brightness if caves and night scenes feel too dark for your playstyle
• Decrease brightness if daytime feels washed out or you prefer higher contrast
• Adjust contrast separately if available to sharpen or soften shadow details

Test Your Changes

Apply settings and explore different biomes and times of day. Visit caves, forests, and open areas to see how your adjustments affect visibility and atmosphere. Return to the shader menu to make further tweaks until the look matches your desired fantasy aesthetic.

Save Your Preferences

Once satisfied, your settings will persist automatically. You can create multiple profiles if you want different configurations for different playstyles.
