How to Trigger Variants

Assorted Wardens Resource Pack adds multiple custom Warden models that can be activated through naming. To spawn a specific variant, use a name tag on a Warden and rename it to match one of the variant names included in the pack. Once renamed, the Warden's appearance will change to reflect that variant.

Variants can also spawn naturally in deep dark biomes, adding unpredictable visual diversity to your underground exploration. This mechanic allows you to customize individual Wardens for adventure maps, survival worlds, or simply to encounter fresh designs during regular caving expeditions. Each variant maintains the Warden's original behavior—only the visual model changes.
