How to Survive Underground Encounters

Assimilated Dwellers are hostile mobs that spawn in caves and dark underground areas. Unlike passive Cave Dwellers, these parasitic variants actively hunt players using stalking AI—they will track, follow, and ambush you during exploration.

When threatened, Assimilated Dwellers pursue aggressively and may chase you relentlessly. Expect distorted laughter and unsettling ambient sounds that build tension during encounters. To survive: avoid lingering in dark caves, carry light sources to reduce spawn rates, and prepare escape routes before venturing deep underground. If spotted, distance and well-lit areas are your best defense against these terrifying creatures.
