Set Up Your First Enchanting Station

Gather Copper Table Materials

Start enchanting early by crafting a Copper Enchanting Table. You'll need copper ingots, restorine crystals, and a book. Copper is found in stone and deepslate at any level. Restorine crystals appear in the Nether and can also be obtained by breaking certain ore deposits.

Place and Power Your Table

Once crafted, place your Copper Enchanting Table in your base. The table works best when surrounded by bookshelves—these increase your enchanting power and unlock access to more recipes. Even a few bookshelves nearby will let you craft common and uncommon enchantments.

Start Crafting Enchantments

Approach the table with magical scrap, your book, and the required ingredients. Each enchantment recipe is deterministic—no randomness. You'll see what you're getting before you commit resources. This lets you plan your gear upgrades without wasting materials on unwanted rolls.

As you progress, collect Chiseled Bookshelves and place them nearby to unlock rarer enchantments and access high-tier recipes.
