Artemis Better Biomes replaces short, blocky trees with taller, fuller versions across all forest biomes. Birch forests, spruce forests, cherry groves, and mixed forests all feature these improved trees, making them excellent sources of wood.

Harvesting Strategy

1. Visit forest biomes — any forest type will have taller trees than vanilla Minecraft.

2. Look for dense clusters of tall trees, which are common in the mod's improved terrain.

3. Bring an axe to fell trees faster and collect wood more efficiently.

4. Climb or use scaffolding to reach higher branches and collect all available wood.

5. Use a Fortune axe if you want to maximize leaf drops for saplings.
