Understand What the Color Warnings Mean

Color System Overview

The Armor Durability HUD uses a three-color warning system to help you manage your gear without opening your inventory. Each color represents a different durability stage.

Green: Safe to Use

When your armor displays in green, your gear is in good condition. You can safely continue fighting, mining, or exploring without immediate repair concerns.

Yellow: Minor Damage

Yellow text indicates your items have taken some damage but are still functional. This is a good time to plan a repair visit to an anvil or crafting table, especially if you're heading into a dangerous situation.

Red: Critical Condition

Red means your armor is very low on durability and will break soon. Stop what you're doing and repair immediately. Losing a piece of armor mid-combat can be dangerous. If you're far from home, consider finding a safe spot to repair or heading back to your base.
