Understanding Trim Glows

Armored Legacy enhances vanilla armor trims with custom glowing effects. When you apply a trim to your armor using a smithing table and trim material, the mod displays an enhanced, luminous version of that trim pattern.

Applying Trims

1. Gather your armor piece and a trim material (like Quartz, Copper, Diamond, etc.)

2. Find a Smithing Table

3. Place your armor in the left slot, trim material in the middle slot

4. Collect your trimmed armor from the output

The trim now displays with Armored Legacy's custom glow, making it more visually striking than vanilla trims.

Choosing Trim Materials

Different trim materials produce different colored glows. Experiment with various materials to match your desired aesthetic. The glow effect works on all armor pieces and complements the mod's 3D model upgrades, creating a cohesive, powerful appearance across your full set.
