Finding Compatible Helmets

Armored Legacy adds multiple helmet variants for each armor type. These helmets are designed to be swapped without losing armor protection or enchantments. Check your inventory for helmet options that match your current armor set—they'll share the same material name (like Diamond, Iron, or Netherite).

Swapping Helmets

1. Open your inventory or armor screen

2. Click the helmet slot to remove your current helmet

3. Select a different compatible helmet variant from your inventory

4. Click the helmet slot again to equip it

Your armor bar and all enchantments remain unchanged—only the visual appearance updates. This lets you customize your look without sacrificing protection.

Mixing Styles

You can wear different helmet styles from the same armor tier interchangeably. Experiment with combinations to find a look you prefer. The mod preserves all vanilla armor mechanics, so durability and protection values stay consistent regardless of which helmet variant you choose.
