Maintain Smooth Animations While Using Custom Armor

Understand the Animation System

This pack includes custom-rigged armor models designed to move with illager animations. The armor pieces are part of the model itself, not separate overlays, so they animate naturally with the mob's movements.

Avoid Animation Mod Conflicts

If illagers freeze, stutter, or move unnaturally:

• Disable other entity animation mods temporarily to identify conflicts
• Ensure your animation mod supports custom entity models
• Load this pack *before* general animation enhancement packs in your resource pack list

Optimize Performance

Custom models increase rendering complexity. If you experience lag during raids:

• Lower your render distance slightly
• Disable advanced graphics options like shadows or ray tracing
• Close other resource-heavy applications
• Check that your GPU drivers are up to date

Test Movement Quality

Spawn a Pillager or Vindicator and watch them move, attack, and idle. Armor should move fluidly with their body. If animations feel choppy, reload resource packs or verify no conflicting packs are active.
