Understanding the Red Warning

When you view this resource pack in the resource pack menu, you may see a red version warning or incompatibility indicator. This does not mean the pack is broken or won't function during gameplay.

Confirming It Works

1. Enable the resource pack despite the warning message

2. Load into any Minecraft world (Creative, Survival, or existing saves)

3. Equip armor and look at the top-left HUD area above your health bar

4. Observe the armor icons—they should display the updated textures matching your equipped items

5. Play normally—the warning is cosmetic and doesn't affect in-game performance

Why the Warning Appears

The warning typically appears because the pack targets multiple Minecraft versions or uses assets that don't perfectly align with the current version's metadata. This is normal for packs designed to work across many releases.

When to Investigate Further

If armor icons don't appear at all or show as blank/corrupted textures, then troubleshoot by checking your resource pack order and ensuring no conflicting packs are active.
