Make Your Armor HUD Match Your Current Armor Set

Understanding the Updated Icons

The Armor HUD Changes Resource Pack replaces the small armor icons that appear above your health bar with designs that match modern armor textures. When you equip different armor types—diamond, netherite, iron, or others—the HUD icons now visually correspond to what you're actually wearing.

Seeing the Changes in Action

1. Equip any armor piece into your armor slots (helmet, chestplate, leggings, boots)

2. Look at the top-left corner of your screen where the armor bar displays

3. Compare the icons to the armor items in your inventory—they should match the modern texture style

4. Switch between different armor types to see how the HUD updates instantly

The resource pack automatically detects which armor you're wearing and displays the correct updated icon. There's no configuration needed—simply having the pack enabled means your HUD will always show current-generation armor designs instead of the older classic look.

Troubleshooting Display Issues

If icons appear misaligned or don't update when you change armor, verify the resource pack is positioned at the top of your resource pack list in the options menu. This ensures it takes priority over other visual modifications.
