Encountering the Megalosaurus

Behavior and Timing

The Megalosaurus is a nocturnal predator that hunts only after dark. During daylight hours, these creatures rest and remain passive. However, disturbing a sleeping Megalosaurus will provoke it to attack aggressively in self-defense.

Appearance

This mod recreates Megalosaurus based on 19th-century scientific illustrations rather than modern paleontological understanding. Expect a distinctive retro aesthetic with blocky proportions and vintage styling that reflects historical artwork from that era.

Where to Find Them

Megalosaurus spawn in wilderness areas at night. They may wander into villages and other player-built structures after sunset, so be cautious when exploring or building in low-light conditions.
