Speed Up or Slow Down Spell Circle Casting
Using Wave Regulators
Wave Regulators control the speed at which media waves travel through your spell circle. By adjusting the regulator, you can make your spells cast faster or slower without changing the pattern itself.
Installation and Adjustment
Place a Wave Regulator on or near your spell circle's media conduit. The regulator has settings that directly affect wave propagation speed. Faster waves mean quicker execution; slower waves give you more time for complex multi-step operations.
When to Use Each Speed
- Fast: Automated farming, rapid block breaking, or high-throughput crafting
- Slow: Precise positioning, debugging patterns, or when you need time for external systems to respond
- Variable: Use Gloopy Accelerators for temporary speed boosts that cost media instead of permanent changes
Combining Strategies
Pair Wave Regulators with Ambit Extenders to create circles that are both fast and far-reaching. This is especially useful for large-scale automation projects where speed and range both matter.
