Set Up Automated Item Storage with Storage Vessels

Creating Your First Storage Vessel

Storage Vessels act as magical containers that spell circles can access directly during casting. Place a Storage Vessel near your spell circle and load it with items you want your spells to use.

Connecting to Your Spell Circle

Inside your spell circle, use the Hex Casting Hermes' Gambit or similar reading/writing patterns to interact with the Storage Vessel as a locus. The vessel will act as a persistent inventory that your running spells can draw from or deposit into without consuming extra media.

This is especially useful when paired with a Patterned Assembler—the assembler pulls materials from connected Storage Vessels to craft items automatically. You can chain multiple vessels together to create a distributed storage network.

Pro Tips

  • Place Storage Vessels in a line or grid for easy access
  • Label them with item frames or signs to track contents
  • Combine with Pocket Simulators for even more inventory slots available to your circle
  • Storage Vessels work best when your spell circle runs repeatedly, so pair them with a Librarian Impetus for automatic triggering
