Control Redstone Signals Directly from Spell Circles
Understanding Redstone Agitators
Redstone Agitators let you emit precise redstone power levels directly from inside an active spell circle—no external comparators or repeaters needed. This means your spells can control doors, pistons, lights, and other redstone devices in real time.
Setting Up the Block
Place a Redstone Agitator adjacent to your spell circle. Inside your casting pattern, use a hex pattern to set the power level (typically 0–15). The agitator will emit that exact redstone signal to all connected redstone dust, repeaters, and devices.
Practical Uses
- Conditional automation: Have your spell check a condition, then emit power only if it's true
- Multi-stage machines: Use different power levels to trigger different behaviors in the same device
- Remote control: Combine with Whispering Stones to activate complex redstone chains from anywhere
Unlike traditional redstone, this happens instantly during spell execution, making it perfect for time-sensitive automation or responsive magical systems.
