Setting Up the Merchant Directrix

Merchant Directrix blocks handle all villager trading and leveling automatically. Place the block, then position a villager in front of it. The block will read the villager's trades and execute them based on your spell circle's commands.

How It Works

Your spell circle sends instructions to the Merchant Directrix specifying which trade to perform and how many times. The block handles the transaction, manages emeralds, and collects or deposits items as needed. You can also use it to level up villagers by triggering specific trades repeatedly.

Integration with Storage

Connect Storage Vessels nearby to supply emeralds and trade inputs. The Merchant Directrix will pull from these vessels and deposit results back into them, creating a fully automated trading loop.

Practical Applications

• Bulk enchanted book farming: Set up librarians and use the directrix to buy books automatically
• Resource conversion: Trade raw materials for refined goods on a schedule
• Leveling: Repeatedly trigger cheap trades to level villagers without manual clicking
