Create a Custom Reward for Block Breaking

Set Up Your Action and Condition

Start by defining an action based on the block-breaking event. In your mod's configuration file, specify which blocks will trigger your reward system. You can target specific block types (like ore blocks or wood) or allow any block to trigger the action.

Configure the Reward

Once your action and condition are linked, assign your desired reward. This could be items, experience points, or status effects. Use the ARC framework's reward syntax to specify exactly what players receive when they break the targeted blocks.

For example, you might grant experience orbs, drop custom items, or apply temporary buffs when a player breaks stone. The data-driven nature of Arc means you can modify these rewards without touching code—simply edit your configuration files.

Test and Iterate

Load your mod and test the block-breaking action in-game. Verify that the correct blocks trigger your reward and that players receive the intended benefits. Adjust your condition criteria or reward values as needed by editing your config files and reloading.
