Adapt to Creepers Launching Fireworks Instead of Exploding

How This Feature Works

When enabled, creepers may launch firework rockets with creeper-face patterns instead of detonating in the traditional explosion. This creates visual spectacle but changes how you defend against them.

Combat Adjustments

Don't rely on explosion timing: Traditional creeper explosions follow predictable patterns. Firework launches are less destructive but harder to anticipate directionally.

Use ranged attacks: Bow and arrow combat becomes more effective since you avoid the explosion damage window entirely.

Keep distance: Fireworks travel in arcs. Maintain elevation or horizontal distance to avoid being hit by the projectile itself.

Base Defense

Creeper-launched fireworks are less likely to destroy blocks than traditional explosions, making this feature less dangerous for structures. However, fireworks can still cause fires in wooden builds.

Configuration

If creeper fireworks feel too chaotic or break your survival experience, disable this specific feature in the config. You can keep other April Fools mechanics active while reverting creepers to normal behavior.
