Progress Through World Tiers and Unlock Expert Mode

Understanding Tier Progression

The modpack features three world tiers: Normal, Expert, and Master. Each tier increases enemy difficulty, loot quality, and boss challenge. You begin in Normal mode and must earn access to higher tiers through specific achievements.

Unlocking Expert Mode

Conquer the Nether and defeat its major bosses. This is a significant milestone—prepare with strong gear, socketed gems, and leveled spells before entering. Once you've cleared the Nether's challenges, Expert mode unlocks, granting access to harder dungeons and better loot across your world.

Reaching Master Mode

After mastering Expert content, travel to the End and defeat the Ender Dragon. This final tier unlock grants access to the most dangerous biomes, toughest bosses, and rarest equipment.

Preparing for Tier Jumps

Before attempting a new tier, farm the current tier's dungeons to maximize your skill tree points and gear quality. Distance-based difficulty means traveling farther from spawn also increases challenge, so use Waystones to manage your exploration safely.
