Antique Trading Ships are large structures that generate randomly in ocean biomes. Because they spawn across open water, you will usually spot one while sailing, swimming, or flying over the sea. There is no fixed location or seed trick — they simply appear at random, so exploration is the only way to find them.

Once you board a ship, you can explore its decks and interior for treasures and rare loot. The exact contents are not fixed, so each ship is worth searching thoroughly. Chests and other loot containers are the main reason to visit, alongside the villagers aboard.

The villagers on the ship offer unique trading opportunities, meaning their trades differ from what you would normally find in a village. Bring emeralds and useful items if you want to trade with them.

Because ships sit in open ocean, prepare for the trip: bring a boat, food, and gear for hostile mobs that may appear nearby.
