Troubleshooting Milk Placement and Flow

Milk Won't Place

If your milk bucket isn't working, verify you have an actual milk bucket in your inventory (not an empty bucket). Right-click directly on a solid block surface, not on air. The block you're clicking must be a valid placement surface.

Unexpected Flow Direction

Milk follows gravity and terrain just like water. If it's flowing somewhere you don't want:

  • Check for slopes or downward terrain
  • Build walls or barriers to redirect flow
  • Use blocks to create channels guiding the milk where you want it

Milk Disappearing

Milk doesn't vanish on its own. If you can't find your placed milk:

  • Check if it flowed away from where you placed it
  • Look downward—milk may have fallen to lower levels
  • Verify you placed it in the correct location

Collection Issues

If you can't pick up milk with a bucket, ensure you're clicking on the source block (where you originally placed the milk), not flowing milk. Use an empty bucket, not a full one.

Performance

Large amounts of flowing milk shouldn't cause lag, but contain it if needed for cleaner builds.
