Customize the Loading Screen Animation

Access Configuration Files

The mod stores its settings in the config folder. Navigate to .minecraft/config/ and locate the Animated Loading Screen configuration file. This is where you control which animation plays and how it behaves.

Modify Animation Settings

Open the config file in a text editor. You can adjust:

  • Animation style: Choose between available animation presets, including the default Minecraft Dungeons style or alternatives if provided by your mod version
  • Animation speed: Control how fast the loading animation plays
  • Background color or image: Customize the backdrop behind the animation
  • Text display: Toggle loading tips, progress bars, or version information on or off

Apply Changes

Save the config file and restart Minecraft. The loading screen will now display your customized settings on the next startup. If changes don't appear, verify the syntax in your config file—formatting errors may prevent the mod from loading your preferences.

Troubleshooting

If the animation reverts to default, check that your edits were saved correctly and that the config file wasn't reset by another mod or launcher.
